I was really, really surprised that such an inexpensive coffee machine could work so good!  My husband is a hardcore BUNN Coffee maker guy, so at first he was extremely skeptical about this $12.96 coffee maker!!  But it has been our number one for the past year!  AND it was on sale at our local Walmart for $9.96 this past week, so of course I HAD to buy it for our RV!!!!!   Who can beat a 12 CUP coffee maker/ machine for $9.96 that ACTUALLY MAKES GREAT COFFEE?????  No one other than this brand, that's who!!!!!!!!!!   (Side note: BUNN coffee filters are great for this coffee maker!).

Good coffee pot!

Its practical, its easy to use, it has a good price. I just needed something basic, something to get the job done. This is it. Good thing is that it keeps the coffee warm.

Exactly what I needed

Being a coffee lover I can tell you how much you need this in your life. This is a beautiful machine, looks really good in your kitchen and also it is light weight so transportation is simple. And works pretty good for the price.

Highly recommend this

I like the lid on top because it snaps shut. The Mr coffee maker that I had before did not close completely which allowed bugs to occasionally get into the reservoir. There are a few things to be aware of. The vertical window that lets you see how much water you put in is on the left side of the coffee maker and the switch is on the right side. it would have been better if the window and switch were on the same side, but since I always fill it to the top, I am able to see the very top of the reservoir window when the lid is open so I can see when to stop pouring water in. The other thing that would improve this pot is a better coating on the heating plate. after 1 year it has rusted pretty badly. Other than that, it's a good coffee maker.

Mainstays 12 cup coffee maker

Coffee maker without all the bells and whistles. Pros: Brews quickly. Coffee is nice and hot. I use 5 tablespoons of coffee to make 8 cups and coffee tastes good. Coffee maker is very light and easy to keep clean. On-off switch is lighted so you know when the unit is on. Great price.
Cons: The measurement markings are a little hard to see and are on the opposite side of the one-off switch. It would be nice if there were markings on the glass carafe also. 
Overall, I really like this coffee maker.

Good coffee maker at a great price!

Bought this the day our vintage bunn decided to crap out. Wasn't too excited to go from bunn to anything else, but we needed something quick and this was under $15 at the time. I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed. Pretty quiet compared to others of a similar style, very clean, and extremely easy to use/figure out. My only negative opinion is that we no longer have a 3-minute brew time for a 12 cup pot (bunn cornered the market on that). This took about 12-13 minutes from the very beginning, until the brew stopped for all 12 cups. I guess it's not too bad, just not what we've been used to all these years :( 

I'd say it's a fantastic deal all around. Easy on the wallet, not too bulky on your countertop, and it does just what you need it to, nothing more!

The best basic coffee pot!

Just your basic, slow, drip coffee maker. The fit and finish was a little nicer on the rival that it replaced still, this one works fine and you can't beat the price. The pot doesn't dribble as much as the rival and the filter holder is a little deeper, which works better for bun filters.

Makes good coffee

I needed a cheap replacement for my coffee maker and this was it. This coffee maker defines the phrase "You get what you pay for". the grounds basket easily overflows, even following all directions and it brews a weak cup of coffee guaranteed every time.

Avoid buying if possible.

This is the worst coffee maker I've ever used. We typically use K cup single serve. However, we bought this when we had a bunch of family coming from out of state. Save your money. It will be worth your time to purchase something a little more expensive. The water NEVER goes through the filter resulting in water overflowing and getting grounds in the coffee. Every time. It doesn't matter what filter you use, or how much coffee you're making.

Awful. Coffee grounds in the coffee every time.

No matter how much coffee grounds you put in the filter, it overflows, the coffee comes out all over the place,
counters and all and theres coffee grounds in it. Do not buy this piece of crap. You will be wasting money
