My daughter is 7 and 49 inches tall I am 5&#39;3 and I can ride it. So 5&#39;5 would be the max

I know it is an old question, but I just bought it and thought I would answer. No, handle bars do not fold in. However, the entire vertical bar folds flat against the foot area for storage/transportation, so that is nice. The locking mechanism seems sturdy enough that I do not see any problems with it.

Do the handle bars fold in like on the original Razor A Kick scooter?

Yes it has an adjustable bar that can be adjusted to girls of all heights.

I don't believe there is a weight limit. This particular scooter can be used until your child is too old to ride it.

Not 100% sure but these scooters are pretty sturdy. I am 140lbs and can ride it just fine.

Targets website says 220lbs. but on Razor's website...the max weight is listed at 143lbs. There is also a comment on targets page that says their listed 220lbs is incorrect and that the paper you get with the scooter says 143lbs. I will be going off of this weight.
