Southwest 4-Day Sale: Nationwide Flights Starting at $98 Roundtrip, $49 One-way
Southwest Airlines is back again this week with another nationwide sale, but this one is out a day early compared to the carrier's usual Tuesday listing. So you'll have an extra day to book your fall flight deals on tickets starting at $49 one-way or $98 roundtrip through mid-December.
Over 4,000 routes are seeing discounts, so something is bound to catch your eye to get you up in the sky.
Travel Availability
- Travel Period: October 31 through December 18, 2019.
- Travel Days of the Week: Monday through Thursday, and Saturdays for most routes; Travel days vary on certain routes as stated below.
- Blackout Dates: Travel is blacked out November 22 - December 3, 2019.
Departures to Las Vegas and select Florida airports are available Sunday through Wednesday; Travel from Las Vegas and certain cities in Florida is valid Tuesday through Friday. Travel to/from Newark is valid through November 2, 2019.
Sale Period
Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, September 19, 2019, at 11:59 pm PDT.

Baggage
Sale fares include a carry-on bag, a personal item, and two free checked bags up to 50lbs/23kg each.
Seat Assignments
Southwest has an open seating policy, which means there are no assigned seats, and you'll get to choose your place during boarding. The order of boarding is determined by the time of check-in, so check-in exactly 24 hours before departure or pay for priority boarding for a better choice of seat.

Searching Southwest's website, I found seats departing San Jose SJC on Wednesday, November 6, with a return flight from Reno RNO on Saturday, November 9, 2019, for $98 roundtrip.
