Best for overclocking CPU
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I overclocked my Ryzen 5 2600x because I wanted the best experience when gaming. The stock cooler had the cpu temperatures around 75c. With this water cooler, the CPU temperatures never past 45c during hours of gaming at max settings. The program I was using to measure the temperatures was MSI command center. Even the moment I would stop gaming, I went straight into BIOS and temperatures always said CPU temp. 42c. When using the PC for standard usage (YouTube, studying), CPU temperatures stayed between 32c - 37c.

Great AIO Cooling Option for Gaming Computers
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased an i7-9700k processor and a huge 11GB MSI 1080ti 352bit GPU. At the time I only had the Hyper 212 EVO air cooler for my CPU and two built-in case fans. My idle temps on air cooled were about 35c idle and in new games on high/ultra settings it would get up to high 70's and the max it got up to in Doom Eternal was 81c. I decided my case needed more air flow and I needed a water cooling system. I bought this one on sale for $129 right before it sold out. It took me 3 hours to install because I had to remove the old fan cooler, remove stock pc fans and clean the PC. It was extremely easy to install this water cooling system. I have a Phantek P400 case. This AIO cooler brought my max temps down between 5-10 Celsius. Doom Eternal maxed at 75 and went no higher(Ultra settings), Castle Wolfenstein 65c(Uber settings). I am using Core Temp program to monitor temperatures. I also bought two 120mm Insignia case fans from Best Buy for $9 a piece and put them on top of my case for exhaust. I don't have any other RGB Corsair fans but you can link them all together and make some great looking RGB computers. When you install the unit and turn on the computer, you need to go download the Corsair iCue software. PLEASE NOTE - by default the cooler performance is set to quiet which means the fans are on the lowest RPM settings. The iCue software allows you to choose preset RPM profiles or make your own. I made my own an applied them to the cooler. The Software also allows you to manage the RGB lighting, create profiles for all your settings, you can even set it to display a certain color when temps reach a certain level and much more. Overall, this was one product I am very happy with so far. I am only a few days in but it is working out very well. I recommend you get this if you are looking for a great water cooling system for a decent price. There are other options out there that will provide better cooling but they cost a lot more. Lastly, I want to point out that I have my fan profile pretty much on Extreme settings and with the two additional case fans I installed on top of my PC, it isn't loud at all. I am actually surprised how quiet everything is. It was much louder with my Hyper 212 on max RPM. Pros -Great Value (on sale $129) -Great cooling for my i7-9700k at 4.9Mhz -280mm with x 2 140mm radiator fans. -Easy installation -RGB on pump looks great inside case -Corsair iCue software is easy to use -It is extremely quiet. Cons -I can't really think of anything that was bad or has gone bad with the system. I don't have any complaints.

Q: QuestionCan the cooler be mounted 90 degrees counter clockwise? That would have the hose outlet/inlet pointing up on the mobo? From the pictures, this seems quite wide. The hose connections on the side may interfere with memory module fans to the right of it.
Asked by tdhayes1.
- A:Answer the pump / CPU unit is completely square, so it can be mounted on the CPU in whatever direction (4 ways) that works best in your system. mine is 180deg

Q: QuestionI know the fans have been updated but has the pump changed? I have the H110i and the pump gets really loud. Thanks
Asked by Caged.
- A:Answer What I could tell after I installed the current one the H115i. My system itself runs pretty quite and I havent noticed any loud noises coming from the pump.

Q: QuestionHow can you tell if the hoses on this unit will reach the CPU if you mount it in the front of your case? I have a Phantek P400 case and it doesn't allow water cooling to be mounted on the top. I have micro-atx board. Any ideas on how to tell?
Asked by Sh3llShock.
- A:Answer Hi, You'd have to measure the tubing and the space at the front to the CPU. If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out: support.corsair.com -Art

Q: QuestionDo you have to refill this with water? Why does it say liquid cooling system, but doesn't talk about the liquid part at all in the overview?
Asked by Matt.
- A:Answer That's what they call a liquid cooling unit also known as an AIO which stands for all in one and it's a completely sealed unit you should not have to replace this item for at least 5 years I just gave my old cooling system to a friend and it's still going strong and it is 5 years old and I got this one for my new build, and it's non-refillable or expandable. Custom loop water cooling are those that have to be serviced every 3 to 6 months sometimes a year, You have to change out the fluids, and that can be either rigid tubing which you have to bend with a heat gun or flex tubing which you just have to cut the length.

Q: QuestionDoes it come with the thermal paste already applied?
Asked by Newtopc.
- A:Answer Yes, it is a thin layer. I scraped it off though because I have my own preference for thermal paste.
