I used this to backup a bunch of old pics on a laptop. My computer recognized it right away and my files transferred quickly. It's so small! Barely covers a quarter and holds 128GB. I like that it's so low profile, my cat doesn't even notice it so he doesn't try to hit it with his paw!

Super PNY 128GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive.

This extremely compact flash drive can store 128 gigs! That's a massive improvement over the flash drive it is replacing. And it is so small. You really do not have to worry about something knocking it out of the USB Port and possibly damaging it like thumb drives in the past. It's a snug and secure fit. It stays securely in the computer, taking up very little space. I feel confident simply leaving it plugged into the laptop. For my particular laptop travel storage setup, the flash drive does not get in the way.

In the picture I provided, you can see how it compares to the laptop power cord and then the typical USB plug for a mouse. Green arrow is pointing to the entire flash drive. It only takes a fraction of the space. Very cool.

I have not kept it connected for an “extended” amount of time, but it is advertised to be designed specifically for that, which is a comfort. It's extra space for my laptop without having to plug it in and out, keep up with it, or interfere with laptop storage. The storage size is so big, it's adding 30% more storage to my laptop as well. Nice!

Included in the design is a place to attach a lanyard / keychain / something to make it a bit more noticeable if you are going to have to keep track of it. This is very handy and something I immediately checked for when looking over the device. Something this small needs it, just in case.

Compact with a Lot of Storage Space

I like the portable, compact size and design. PNY Elite-X Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive has been reliable and very fast to transfer files, videos and photos. Most videos that I had transferred almost instantaneously whereas my old flash drive took several minutes to transfer each. It stayed cool while transferring bigger file also. Great flash drive to store files to use as a backup.

Portable and fast transfer

I really love this! I have saved so much on this flash drive in very little time. If you take a lot of pictures or save a lot docs I highly recommend this flash drive. I did put a key chain on it because it's a little to small for me but now, I won't loose it. :)

Large and fast Flash Drive

Flash drive in black holds photos, documents etc. sleek small design. 128 gb is plenty for most people. Easy to use, just put in port. See photos for an example of small design size. The size is a pro or con, the con could be it is so small, the pro could be it is so small, you could carry in a change purse.

Lots of storage, itty bitty space

I received the PNY 128GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive a couple weeks ago. I have to say it is very small. About the size of a usb receiver that would be used with a wireless mouse or keyboard. I recommend that you put a large key ring on it or something to make it less likely to get lost because this can easily get stuck in small places or harder to retrieve in deep pockets. The speed is great! I actually transferred 79GB of family photos in under and hr on a very old desktop. I originally got it so that I could run updates on my SUV. Unfortunately, not all devices like large storage capacity USBs. I needed a 32GB to run the update. 128GB would not work. Definitely read all the requirements of what you will be using this for. I skipped that step and now need to purchase a 32GB USB. The material is plastic and metal. Comes with a snug cap. I would like for the key ring hole to be metal. I'm not saying it will break but it would give more peace of mind knowing a lot of data won't be lost due to weak nature of hard plastics. I would definitely recommend this USB if compact but large storage capacity is needed. It's great if you decide to leave it in a desktop as extra storage space. Highly recommend!

Teeny Tiny USB!!

We are homeschooling this year so I needed something that held alot. This is perfect. It fits well in our laptop. Perfect for school or whatever you need it for. It works well and no problems so far. Its read fast. Will buy again.

Keep documents and pictures handy

I am the Volunteer President of a local classic film club and I chose the PNY 128GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive to transfer movies from my laptop to my projector for screenings at our club meetings. It has a quick write and read rate. There really isn't any lag in accessing the information or continuously reading it. The drive successfully maintains film quality without causing issues with the read rate. The only problem I have with the PNY 128GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive is that the size and silver and black color make it VERY easy to lose if you haven't quite gotten it onto a key ring...which I did. The drive is only an inch x and inch and a half, about the size of a Yule mint. I put it into my purse (granted its a Mama purse) and the only thing that ever came out was the clear plastic cover. If I hadn't lost the thing, I'd still be using it. I would recommend this product to anyone who has the presence of mind to put it on their keys as soon as they get it. You won't be disappointed with the quality.

Great USB Drive if you can find it...

Very slow write speed. Averaging about 3MB/s transferring files from a 3.0 MS surface(I7) to this flash drive. Occasionally burst speed of 35MB/s.
