As for the H9505, these headphones offer impressive performance with 40mm drivers that earned Hi-Res audio certification. They feature strong noise cancellation, mild noise cancellation, and ambient sound modes. Similar to Sony's 1000X series, covering the right ear cup switches to ambient sound mode, making it familiar for Sony users. The battery life is impressive at 27 hours with or without noise cancellation, and a 15-minute quick charge provides an additional 5 hours of playback. The headphones have built-in Alexa voice assistant and allow settings and EQ adjustments through an app. They can connect to 2 devices simultaneously, though the only drawback is Bluetooth support limited to AAC and SBC codecs, preventing Android users from enjoying better audio quality.
