It hardly has any incline. it folds for storage, but in an upright position.

It stays inclined, but the incline is very slight.  It&#39;s a no-frills machine - you can&#39;t adjust the incline.

Can this lay flat or does it stay on the incline as pictured?

No. It&#39;s already on a slight incline though. You can only adjust speed on this.

Can you adjust the incline on this machine?

This model does not have​ a high Incline and it can be used just for walking.

This product comes out of the box with a big label on it stating that it&#39;s for walking only.  So that&#39;s what it&#39;s designed to do for you.  That&#39;s all I use it for.  I don&#39;t like to run, anyway.  The incline exists, but it&#39;s very slight.

Yes.  It&#39;s a magnetic connection.  The machine won&#39;t start without it.

Would you recommend this for a senior who just needs to walk ? Can&#39;t use a &#39;high incline&#39;, is this one high?
