the answer is yes...black and white is an option...color is an option...just remember that when printing in black and white there is a small amount of color added...mostly blue...

Mine came with ink. One black cartiage and one color. They are small carriages though and don’t last very long, but you can buy larger cartiages for it; it just depends on how often you print.

Best printer ever

I have bought several of these. Always great to keep a few on hand for gifts. Comes with the ink / CD and all you do is plug it in and attach plug to your computer/ or use the wireless feature and VIOLA you are set to go. For $19 you can not go wrong. The ink lasts a good while so do not think you can only print a few sheets. For the money it is a bargain.

Fabulous Bargain

I just bought this printer and set it up in less than 10 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow. Didnât have any problems with setup. $19 for a a wireless printer AND ink is a steal. Iâm glad I am able to print from my phone again! It seems good so far, hopefully it lasts!

Seems great

I don't see why this printer is getting bad reviews. If people read the manual there wouldn't be any problems. I set up the printer on my computer and phone within 15minutes. I now print all the time in different rooms of my house. I love this printer.

I got an amazing deal on this printer. I'm pretty sure I paid around $20. It came with some ink included and it printed quite a few pages before it got low. I linked it with my laptop and phone and it prints everytime with no issues. It was a great find.

Works really well

Took a little while to obtain compatibility with a Chromebook, but when resolved, works just great. Haven't attempted printing from phone yet, but will soon. All of this for an outstanding price !

Cloud-Printing Cheaply

Well it's nice and work good thanks for the help of Canon support. It will be perfect for me if the the price of the ink is cheap, right now I don't know how much the ink cost of this printer.

don't waste your time it's not wireless. I have it right beside the router nothing. I have it linked directly into router nothing. 3 hours later I  am returning to the store if i had kept the paper weight i might have taken it to a field and a baseball bat, hammer, and crow bar the thing.. i think if product don't work according to manual they should double my money back... then companys would put out the quality they advertised.

waste of time

Jams 75% of the time. Paper misfeeds 75% of the time. The ink is expensive for such a cheap printer, $17 for 1 cartridge. The cartidges that come with it don't last long. Because of the paper jams you go through alot of paper and ink having to constantly reprint. Image shown; the other half is still in the printer with no easy way to get it out. I want my money back!

Aggravating printer

I ordered this printer and it arrived with no print cartridges to complete the setup.  I have attempted to return the printer, and I am not getting any response from  Walmart.com or the third part seller.  I now see that the same printer is listed for sale at the price of 35.14 which is a fraction of the 94.98 I was charged.  Do not order this printer
