Anyway, for the things I've bought, if I'm not satisfied or there's a problem, I've always been able to return or exchange them normally after communicating with the seller. Some sellers even offered price matching! I think it's already quite impressive for a Chinese platform to hold Chinese small businesses to this standard. After all, the price of many items is even less than the shipping cost to the US, which clearly shows the platform is providing subsidies. 我用 AE 有 6-7 年了。反正我买的东西，如果有不满意或者有问题的通过和商家沟通，都很正常的退换了，有的商家甚至给 price match 了！我觉得一个中国平台能把中国小商家要求到这个地步已经很不错了。毕竟很多东西的价格连运来美国的运费都不到，一看就是平台给的补贴。

It's just bad luck that you ran into a bad one. Try applying for platform protection—if your request is reasonable, they usually do issue refunds. I even got a refund for a lost package.
