I have a collection of over 500 dvds/blu rays and one of these shelves fit just under half my collection! (Granted, a lot of them were franchise collections to save space) And due to it not being very large, it saves a lot of space in my rental apartment and is easy to find spots for!

Fits so many movies!

The stock photo for this storage tower is definitely deceiving, but fortunately I looked at the dimensions before buying. I bought it to hold my CDs and it has 8 shelves, which can hold 30 CDs each (or more if you put CDS on top of the CDs). I have about 230 CDs which are nicely stored now. I took off a star because they definitely cut corners when designing this so that it's just the bare minimum of being held together. The instructions weren't too difficult for me to follow and most of the pieces were labeled. It's not super obvious that you have to tighten the Cam Connectors after inserting the Cam Screws, but I've had plenty of experience with them, so I knew not to skip that step. I merely think it would be helpful if the instructions had said in WORDS to turn each connector clockwise as far as it will go after inserting so it locks the screw in place. Anyway, I definitely recommend this primarily as a CD tower since that's what it's designed for.

Perfect for CD Storage

it is good for what it is, but the instructions left a lot to be desired. some of the locking bolts dont work right and it is flimsy in some places, but overall very functional.

good, but....

It arrived missing part of one of the cam screws.  When I tried to get a replacement through Wal-Mart to resolve this problem I got a call from someone I had a difficult time understanding him.  From his accent I think it was from India.  I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me what I needed.  These cam screws had a tendency to not hold together so I got some wood glue and used it hold it together.  Once I added on the back sections it helped to stabilize it.  Because of the shelf spacing it limited the available space to about 102 dvds.  some of those (7) had to go into spaces horizontally it the shorter sections between the larger shelf spaces.  It is not very stable, but the location where I put it makes it not an important factor for me.  The dimensions listed are accurate.  Instead of one solid piece for each side it has 3 sections per side (the reason for the cam screws).  Considering the price it is sufficient for my needs.  It did come with a strap system to secure it to a wall but it was not very practical.

Assembly problems

I've put together a lot of shelving units over the years and this one was one of the worst pieces of furniture I've ever assembled. No matter how tightly I tightened the cam lock, it keeping popping apart. Whenever I tried to move the unit while working on it, items kept separating. Nails were weak and kept bending.

It sucked

It was fine until I put in the last foot. It didnt pop in like the others so I added some pressure and the entire thing fell down and the screws broke through every long piece leaving the entire thing unsalvageable. I was really looking forward to using it too.

One wrong move ruins the whole thing

The picture makes it look big and tall, it is NOT!!! About the only thing you can really get on there are some small candles, little what nots. Very disappointed and would like my money back, please do not buy this if you think it is big enough to hold a pocketbook, because it's not. It's very thin as well….

DISSATISFIED

Broke during assembly.  Flimsy construction.  Wall anchor is mandatory because it is very unsteady.  Unit goes together in 3 pieces.  Shelving adjustment is very limited.  Bottom 1/3 cannot hold 2 rows of DVDs—so much wasted space.  I'm returning for IKEA BILLY shelves.

Complete garbage - don't waste your time on this
