the description says these are stainless cookware.then further down it says they are aluminum......which is it?  do they have teflon coatings?

I love this set, the only problem is the LG skillet already has three grooves in the center of the pan and I have never used metal utensils in the pan. Other than that this is the best pots and pans I have ever had. Thank you

I haven't had to buy cookware since my Farbrrware set from our wedding 49 years ago!  I still use them but needed a few more and this set fit the bill. I don't think it is of the same quality as my original set, but it cleans up nicely and I am enjoying it.   Good deal!

Great set

I teach a food prep class at a high school. I ordered 6 sets to use in my classroom 2 years ago. After watching 150 students use them for 2 years, I was IMPRESSED! The durability is so amazing, I ordered a set for at home. All of the sets still look brand new! I highly recommend this cookware.

13 piece cookware set, black

Incredible deal on some awesome cookware. Collectively, I've never felt I made a better buy. I love every item in this group. Super awesome.  Stay away from their knives, but jump on this deal. I'm thinking seriously about buying an extra lot, or even 2, to always have a gift option.

Incredible Quality Cookware Lot

These are really nice pots/ pans. I am so excited to cook with them! The frying pans look small at first (we will definitely be getting the big one separately soon) but the larger one that comes in this bundle can accommodate a pound of ground chicken adequately. The knobs on this set are much nicer than the other sets we priced out. For the money- you can't beat this set. They look like the higher end cookware sets. The glass lids are also a nice touch.

Overall quality appears to be good, handles are very comfortable. Saucepans have a nice thick base to sit flat on a glass top range, however the frying pans are aluminum and do not. They do sit flat for now, but have not thouroughly tested them over time. The aluminum also tarnished in our dishwasher - they probably recommend hand washing, but we have a diswasher for a reason!

Good value for stainless steel

Had to return this 3x to the walmart store because each box had a defective 5qt. pot in it. There was a dent in each pot. Other than that, I like the set. Seems to be pretty good quality. But Farberware's quality control is very poor.

I got this set as a wedding gift; unfortunately after less than a year of use — our largest pan is already chipping and will likely only get worse.  Would have expected better quality for the price.  We don't use any hard utensils metal exc. and have never put it in the dishwasher!
