Editor's Pick: If you used to sit in front of the TV as a kid, watching Goku grow from an innocent little boy into a Super Saiyan who saves the world, then seeing this LEGO set will be hard to resist — your childhood memories have finally been "built" into bricks!
LEGO has partnered with Toei Animation, the studio behind the Dragon Ball anime, for the first time, officially bringing this classic IP — cherished by so many born in the '80s and '90s — into the world of building bricks. The first release is the stunning Shenron & Goku.
The most eye-catching part of the set is undoubtedly the coiling Shenron: its massive body rises into the air from among the seven Dragon Balls, with green scales, sharp claws, and a winding body all recreated with impressive presence. Shenron's head and claws can be adjusted in angle, giving the whole scene a dynamic feel of "summoning successful, Shenron appears."
Beside Shenron is the classic young Goku riding the Flying Nimbus! This time it's not the adult Super Saiyan everyone became familiar with later, but the innocent, hot-blooded little Goku who still rides the Flying Nimbus on adventures — instantly pulling you back to the golden early days of Dragon Ball.
The seven Dragon Balls at the base are the perfect finishing touch. As kids, we followed the adventure of "collect all seven Dragon Balls, summon Shenron, and make a wish"; looking back as adults, we realize what was truly precious may have been those years of adventuring and growing up alongside Goku.
With 1,764 pieces and standing about 12.6 inches (32 cm) tall, once completed it's not just a building set, but more like a "childhood keepsake" displayed in your home. And this is only the beginning of LEGO's collaboration with Dragon Ball — the company has confirmed more Dragon Ball releases coming in 2027. For the generation that grew up with Goku, this really feels like — "my childhood has finally gotten its LEGO version."
