Editor's Pick: If your home internet has been upgraded to gigabit or faster, an old switch can easily become the bottleneck. This model has eight 2.5G ports, and your existing Cat5e or Cat6 cables can handle the full speed without rewiring. In the software interface, you can set up VLANs and prioritize devices, which is quite useful for a small office or a home with lots of devices. The metal casing is fanless, so it won't hum constantly when placed in a study or next to a TV stand, and it can also be wall-mounted to save space.
