Editor's Pick: The JS series is Jackson's product line for beginner to intermediate players, and several classic body shapes—Dinky, Rhoads, King V, and Warrior—are all part of this lineup. Most feature poplar bodies paired with Jackson's own high-output humbucker pickups, which deliver plenty of punch when you crank up the distortion through an amp. The neck is on the thinner side, making bends and fast runs feel smooth, and the 24 jumbo frets let you play comfortably even in the higher registers. If you're looking for a metal guitar to practice on or a backup for band gigs, the JS 4 is a great choice at this price.

: Is the JS4 a good choice for a beginner's first metal guitar? 新手第一把金属琴选JS4合适吗？
: Good enough for beginners. The neck is thin and easy for bending strings—pretty smooth for metal players using it for practice. 入门够用，琴颈薄好推弦，一般金属党拿它练手挺顺的。
