Editor's Pick: On your commute, turn on noise cancelling and the rumble of the subway car fades right away — listen to music when you want, enjoy the quiet when you don't. The soft ear cushions wrap around your ears, and wearing them for an hour or two doesn't press on your head much. Switching between Quiet and Aware modes is easy, so you don't have to take them off when crossing the street or ordering. The battery lasts a full day, and a 15-minute charge gives you over two more hours of listening — plenty for a quick top-up before you head out.

: What's the difference between the second generation and the first generation? And which one has better sound quality compared to Apple?
: The sound quality for just listening to music is about the same as the Max, and Apple's spatial audio is better. But the Max's weight gets uncomfortable after wearing it for a while—the QC series you can wear for an entire long-haul flight without any issues.
: I heard the second generation is more comfortable to wear and has better battery life. For those who wear them all day long, Bose is still more comfortable. If you want the Apple ecosystem, go with Apple.
: Is the noise reduction effective?
: How comfortable is the BOSE QC? BOSE QC
