Editor's Pick: When you're just starting out with sourdough bread, buying all the tools one by one is a hassle. This set comes with a proofing bowl, scoring knife, mixing stick, and scraper — everything you need to get started right out of the box. The basket is hand-woven from Indonesian rattan, and the spiral pattern allows for even airflow. Once your dough is proofed and turned out, the pattern comes through clearly, and the crust bakes to just the right crispness. The lined cloth fits snugly and stays in place, and the dough doesn't stick. The packaging is quite nice too — it makes a great gift for friends who love baking bread at home.
