Editor's Pick: It's been exactly one year since the announcement of 72037 Mario & Standard Kart! On March 10, 2026, Mario Day, they announced the brother set 72050 Luigi & Mach 8, which includes 2,234 pieces - 262 more than the Mario version. The vehicle length has also increased from 12.6 inches (32 cm) to 16.1 inches (41 cm).
Both models share these features: turning the steering wheel rotates the front wheels; moving the rear wheels activates the spinning flame decoration at the back; and the character's head and arms are movable. In comparison, Luigi's yellow and blue Mach 8 kart has a design that's more like a jet/retro F1 car, with larger tires and a more dynamic overall look. The racing models look absolutely adorable when displayed together:

: Most kids like it, but generally they tend to prefer the red Mario one. From what I know, most kids refer to it as Mario. 大部分小孩都喜欢，但是一般应该更偏向红色的Mario 那个，我知道的小孩嘴里都是叫Mario比较多
