Editor's Pick: When doing woodworking or laying floors, reading a protractor at corners and angled edges always seems to come up just a little short. This one sticks right on, press ZERO to reset, and once you turn it into place the number shows on screen—0.05° resolution, very easy to read. The 7-inch (17.8 cm) aluminum ruler's scale is laser-engraved, so it won't wear off with repeated use. It has a locking knob, so once you've measured the angle and tighten it, it won't shift. When you're done, tuck it into the zippered case and toss it in the trunk with your tools without worrying about dings.
