Editor's Pick: When you want to knead dough and bake bread on the weekend but don't want to stand at the counter working your arms until they ache, just set it up and free your hands to prepare other things. The 500-watt motor with 12-speed settings handles whipping egg whites, mixing batter, and kneading everyday dough with ease. The body is die-cast metal yet lighter than expected—you can lift it from the cabinet to the counter with one hand. The 5.5-quart stainless steel bowl comes complete with a whisk, dough hook, and flat mixing paddle, and everything goes straight into the dishwasher when you're done. The tilt-head locks in both the up and down positions, so you don't need to hold it while changing attachments.
