Editor's Pick: If you want to get your kids off screens and making something with their hands, this knitting machine has a low learning curve — just loop the yarn around the pegs back and forth and you can knit something. The kit comes with yarn, the loom, a crochet hook, and pom-poms all included; follow the illustrated instructions step by step, and when they finish a rainbow yarn hat, they can wear it out themselves. Suitable for ages seven and up, and the loom can be kept for next time with a new ball of yarn.
