: Please give me a reason not to read on my phone.
: Kindle e-readers use e-ink technology, just like reading a physical book. Phones, TVs, and iPads have blue light, which is very harmful to the eyes. My eyes are sensitive to light, and I feel it very clearly. I can read e-books for a long time without issues, but if I look at my phone for more than an hour, my eyes hurt. However, I'm not sure how this color version is. I use the Paperwhite series.
: It hurts the eyes. Kindle uses reflective light, not self-illuminating light.
: Does anyone know how long this trade-in 20% off promo will last? Thanks!

I once bought a good one, but the latency was unbearable, so I had to return it.</c17577801>Sony is just too expensive.</c17577907>If you like color screens, check out the Boox by Onyx. It's a very smooth and open system. I bought the Ultra C Pro.</c17577952>At thirteen inches, there's no cheap option, but it's truly useful.</c17578069>The new Paper Pro by Remarkable also supports color and seems better than Onyx because its size is 11.8 inches.</c17578680>If you aren't embarrassed, then why should I be? I'm not afraid of people who blatantly lie.</c17579178>You need to trade in the device in advance. It requires some shipping time. Once Amazon receives and inspects your device, they'll give you a 20% discount.</c17579570>Unbelievable.</c17579602>Even though I'm tempted, I really dislike closed systems.![[捂脸哭]](/assets/emoji/comment-emoji/dm_wulianku@2x.png?v=1)
</c17579879>I miss the days of $49 and $79.</c17580639>For an 8-year-old, it's a tad bit luxurious.
</c17582569>I thought the PW5 could last me a lifetime, but after the system update, it no longer supports locally transferred books. Once you connect to the internet, everything gets wiped unless you upload through Kindle's official method and then sync and download to the Kindle. It's so frustrating.</c17582951>Then just get a $100 domestic product. A smaller size won't matter.</c17583479>Onyx's durability is very questionable. Make sure to take good care of it, or you'll be out $300 just like that.
: The trade-in program is always available. It's recommended to redeem it in advance so you can stack it with Black Friday discounts later.

: Aren't iPads always used as books for ebooks or PDF files? I think at this price, it's better to buy an iPad 10. iPad ebook或者pdf file 不是一直都是当书用吗,我觉得这个价格不如买ipad 10
回复 @Series : >Trade-in is always available. It's recommended to redeem it in advance, so you can combine it with the Black Friday discounts for additional savings.</c17575646>How do you redeem in advance? I don't understand. kindle
: The main difference is probably eye protection, right? I’m just waiting to see if it’s worth it.
: You can just read on your phone.
: Is this just for viewing covers...?
: Nailed it... 。。
回复 @匿名用户 : Color manga and textbooks are meant to be in color, but before this, nobody was missing out because of it... Most ebooks only have color on the cover anyway. Or does using this device make the text itself colorful too? That seems kind of unnecessary. If you're mainly reading text, color only affects the cover.
: The first product after the former head of Microsoft Surface jumped ship is actually called 'ColorSoft' - 😂😂😂😂😂 前微软Surface的总管跳槽后的第一个产品,居然叫“色软 ColorSoft” - 😂😂😂😂😂
