Editor's Pick: When you're at a restaurant waiting for food with the kids, pull this out of your bag and they'll quietly paint for a while. There's a slot on the back of the book to hold the brush, just dip it in water and paint—the paper is thick enough that the paint won't bleed through to the next page. When they're done, tear along the perforated line to use it as a bookmark—kids feel a real sense of accomplishment. The forest-themed designs are just the right difficulty level for 4-5 year olds.
