Editor's Pick: When building a new PC or upgrading an older platform, this CPU suits people who game and also run some productivity tasks. With 24 cores and 32 threads, you can keep a livestream running in the background and run a few virtual machines while still maintaining stable frame rates in the foreground game. Max turbo frequency reaches 6.0GHz, so competitive games feel responsive and snappy. It supports both DDR4 and DDR5, so you can keep using your old memory and save money on a new motherboard and RAM. Note that it has no integrated graphics, so you'll need a dedicated GPU.
