回复 @匿名用户 : The 990 Pro is the direct predecessor of the 9100 Pro, both being Samsung's Gen5 SSDs. If the 990 Pro is considered a mid-to-low-end SSD, then what is the 9100 Pro? In reality, among all Samsung M.2 SSDs still in production, the 9100 Pro is the top, followed by the 990 Pro, and only then the much later-released DRAM-less 990 EVO Plus. "Plenty in stock"? Oh, maybe so, but if a 1TB model costs $399, someone actually has to want it. 990Pro是9100Pro的直接前代，三星的5.0条子。如果990Pro是中低端条子，那9100Pro是什么？实际上整个还在产的M.2三星里面除了9100Pro第二就是990Pro，第三才是晚得多出的dramless 990evoplus。要多少有多少？哦可能是嘛，1TB都卖399得有人要才行呀。

回复 @Lawrence011 : I still have a whole bunch of 9100 Pro top-tier 8TB drives, but I would never say the 990 Pro is mid-to-low-end. In reality, once the cache is exhausted, there's hardly any big difference between the 990 and 9100. As gamers, we're still using P31G drives, which are PCIe 3.0 sticks. If you're using a Fanxiang drive, don't come here criticizing the 990 Pro as underwhelming. Below the 990 Pro, there's still the 990 EVO Plus, the discontinued 990 EVO, the upcoming 990 without any suffix, and a whole bunch of QLC drives. 我还有一大堆9100Pro 顶配的8TB，但是我就绝对不会说990Pro是中低端这种话。实际上出缓之后990.9100根本就没有大区别，作为玩家我们自己还有P31G在用，3.0的条子，你用梵想就不要来批评什么990Pro是拉胯的了。990Pro往下就还有990evoplus，以及停产的990evo，以及马上要上的990无后缀，和一大堆QLC的条子。

: Feel free to mess around, but the 990 EVO Plus is more recommended, because the slow-outside-cache performance issue still hasn't been resolved. Keep an eye out for a good deal, or go for the bare drive.
