Editor's Pick: In rooms with low ceilings, people often worry about bumping their heads when installing a ceiling fan, but this flush-mount design avoids that concern. It combines a light and a fan in one, so you can use the airflow in summer and turn it off in winter to use it as a regular ceiling light. Both the remote and the app let you adjust fan speed and lighting, so you do not have to get up to reach the switch while lying in bed. It has six fan speeds, and at the lowest setting for sleeping, it is almost silent.
