Editor's Pick: Kids who love Mario Kart will get hours of play out of this set. The castle walls fold open, the fire bars spin, and there's a falling rock mechanism that feels just like the game levels. The Yoshi and Bowser figures have great detail, and placing them in the karts lets you recreate the drifting and boosting moves from the game. Standing about 10 inches (26 cm) tall when built, it also makes a striking display piece on a bookshelf.
