Editor's Pick: In summer, air conditioning can feel stuffy and open windows don't always cool things down enough. A standing fan in the living room is just right. It has 8 adjustable fan speeds, and on the lower settings it runs very quietly, so you can keep it on while you sleep without it being noisy. The fan head oscillates 90 degrees side to side and 105 degrees up and down, so you can feel the breeze even from the corner of the sofa. There's an aroma pad slot on top—add a few drops of essential oil and the airflow carries a light scent.
