Editor's Pick: If you have hardwood or tile floors at home, chair wheels rolling back and forth over time can easily leave scratches. This mat has an adhesive backing that keeps it basically in place once laid down, and the surface has a plush texture that lets chairs glide smoothly. Just vacuum it occasionally, no special care needed. The mat itself is on the thinner side, but it separates the wheels from the floor and reduces rolling noise. Note it only works on hard floors, not on carpet.
