Since its premiere in 2015, the musical "Hamilton" has won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, a Grammy Award, and 11 Tony Awards, and is hailed as a groundbreaking work that "redefined Broadway." This masterpiece that hit the Broadway stage in 2015 has been a massive sensation, selling out every show since its debut. Through a bold fusion of hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and traditional Broadway music, it tells the legendary life story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America's Founding Fathers.
The musical follows history faithfully, showcasing his military achievements, mistakes, political struggles, family, and love life, while important figures in American history such as Washington also appear on stage one by one. Beyond its gripping plot, what's most acclaimed about the show is its stage music. The music is primarily hip-hop, interspersed with jazz and other genres—absolutely spectacular!
