The payment showed successful and money was deducted, but there’s still no order, and the official customer service just tells me to contact my bank, while the bank tells me to contact their customer service! I’ve tried contacting them countless times and all they ever tell me is to check around my house. They reject all the photo evidence I provided, treating me like I’m lying. Basically, OnTrac tells me to check with La Mer, La Mer tells me to either ask OnTrac or check with the neighbors. In chat, I even sent screenshots of the courier’s chat and my home CCTV footage for the delivery time. Today they emailed me saying the chat screenshot didn’t show a tracking number, and they even pointed out that my CCTV footage showed “a package.” Seriously? First off, I live in an apartment building. Second, that package was white, and I checked at the time—it was someone else’s and wrapped in a white plastic bag. Like, don’t you even recognize your own packaging anymore?! And then they “suggested” I go ask the neighbors. La Mer just doesn’t want to reship or refund, just wants to take the money. Honestly, makes me wonder if the driver took it, or maybe someone at the courier company stole it. At this point, I even suspect my money’s been split 50/50 between La Mer and the courier! I’ve ordered from them so many times, but this is by far the most frustrating, most exhausting, most wallet-draining, and overall worst experience I’ve ever had.
