Teresa Cheung 2026 World Tour Concert

: Zhang Delan, originally named Zhang Yuanyuan, started out singing many Cantonese folk tunes and children's songs. Later, she also trained as a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. After changing her name to Zhang Delan, she became even more famous, singing many theme songs and insert songs for Hong Kong TV dramas. In the 80s and 90s, she was very popular in Hong Kong and Guangdong. She is one of the "Four Golden Flowers": Lydia Shum (Fei Fei), Liza Wang (Big Sister), Wong Oi Ming (Ming Ming) — all are TVB Enjoy Yourself Tonight (EYT) artists. Zhang Delan's songs are built on a foundation of classical music and Cantonese opera, with accurate enunciation and pronunciation, clear high notes, and deep, lingering emotion. People born after the 80s may have been too young when she was at her peak, so they may not necessarily know or appreciate her songs; those born in the 70s and 60s, and those who have watched many Hong Kong martial arts films, should all know her. Check Ticketmaster — there are still plenty of tickets, but the good seats are very sought after, and the value for money is excellent. We just bought a bunch of the most expensive tickets, decided to go support her, and also to reminisce. You can find her famous songs and background here: 网页链接>> This also has the love story between her and her husband Yang Weicheng, and how they became a model couple in the entertainment industry — all of which is well worth referencing and learning from for us middle-aged and older people who grew up listening to her songs!
