Editor's Pick: Once this convenience store set is built, it displays a freezer, a checkout counter, and small shelves, and the accessories include little items like drinks and snacks, so kids can play pretend shop for hours. With 176 pieces, it's not too many—a child around five years old can finish building it in an afternoon following the instructions, and then set up the shelves their own way, which is more fun than just putting it on display.
