回复 @Yixs : The R62 special price is around $1700, so there's no need to go for the R6. If you're after compactness, go for the R8, but be ready to deal with its really low battery life. You'll need at least two batteries or a PD charging cable to connect to a power bank. The R8 lacks stabilization (but Canon lenses mostly have it), so for fast-moving scenes like kids playing, the R8 may result in blurred shots. The R62 comes with stabilization, giving you a higher success rate for photos. If you can handle the weight, I'd recommend the R62. Newbies should avoid adapting EF lenses as it can't synchronize body and lens stabilization, plus the autofocus isn't as good as with RF lenses. Pair the R8 body with an RF 35mm silver ring fixed aperture 1.8, or the latest silver ring 28-70mm 2.8 aperture, and you'll experience what extreme compactness is like (unfortunately, the M series didn't live up to expectations, and it's gone). If the body and lens are too heavy, you won't be inclined to use them frequently. I got the 28-70mm 2.8, but in my experience, I find the red ring 24-105mm aperture F4 more suitable for me (mainly because it can shoot further, is lighter [I value weight], and not too expensive). Canon's RF lenses can't compete with Sony's extensive selection, but there are indeed issues with third-party lenses not matching the continuous shooting and autofocus of original lenses. The A7C2 is an alternative to the R8, but it's $500-700 more expensive, and the 4K 60p is cropped, which I can't tolerate. The issue is, for the $2000 A7C2, spending just $1800 can solve all my lens anxieties with a Tamron 35-150mm. Most Sony users can get a Tamron 28-75mm for just $700. With the R8 (priced at $1300, 35mm $400, 28-70 silver ring $1100, or 24-105 red ring F4 $1400). If buying the A7C2, one lens is enough: simple and direct, but the 4K crop is frustrating. With the R8, everything is great, except there's no perfect lens like the 35-150. Speaking of image quality, Canon is renowned for its pleasing out-of-camera results. Moreover, you can't really compare with Sony's low-quality screen; new users first look at the camera screen. You’re a beginner, and even as an average user, I don’t do post-processing (shooting RAW is just a backup in case a favorite shot is over/underexposed). That’s why I chose Canon for its flattering SOOC (straight-out-of-camera) portraits over Sony’s sleek bodies and vast lens lineup. The 24-105 f4’s smaller aperture makes it harder to achieve "wow" shots (shallow depth-of-field/bokeh). On social media, the only photos that scream "shot on a real camera" are those with creamy bokeh. If you mostly shoot at 70mm or below, a 28-70 f2.8 would be better. Or, if you’re not shooting stages, wildlife, or landscapes, a 35mm or 50mm prime with f1.8 might suit you. Canon lenses under $2K can hardly be called "one-and-done"—that’s Canon’s stingy side. It’s why I drool over Sony’s Tamron 35-150 (f2-2.8, insane!) and 28-200 (f2.8-5.6 for just $800). The 24-105 f2.8 *is* one-and-done, but at $3K? Even family users don’t need that, let alone beginners—plus, it’s heavy.
