Editor's Pick: Divide the big packs of ground meat from Costco into smaller bags, squeeze out the air and seal them up—they stay fresh in the freezer for two or three months without turning pale or drying out. The bags stand up on their own, so you don't need a second hand to hold them while pouring in broth or marinating meat with liquid, and your counter stays clean. After filling, press them flat and stack them in the freezer—saves space and looks neat, and you just grab one bag when it's time to thaw.
