回复 @匿名用户 : Not necessarily. For braised pork belly, if you cut it into smaller pieces, you can blanch it first, then briefly stir-fry in the pan before adding water and sauce to stew. Just reduce the liquid toward the end. 也不一定，红烧五花肉的话，切小块一些的话就可以焯水后，锅里稍微煸一下就直接加水和料汁炖煮，最后留点水差不多收汁就可以了
回复 @匿名用户 : If you can't make it, just buy braised sauce. Sometimes I use the sweet sauce from octopus balls bought at Costco as braised sauce. 不会调就直接买红烧汁，我有时会用Costco买的那个偏甜的章鱼小丸子图的酱汁来当红烧汁
