Editor's Pick: Once December arrives, open one slot each day to reveal illustrations and little surprises of various creatures from the wizarding world—kids get more excited opening these than their actual gifts. The hardcover opens up and stands on a desk, making a nice little display piece too. The pages are full of details, and Harry Potter fans will recognize plenty of familiar names. It's perfect for counting down the month before Christmas.
