Editor's Pick: If you want to make matcha lattes at home but worry the taste is too bitter, this entry-level option has a nice balance, with a bit of both umami and mild bitterness. Sourced from Kagoshima, the first-harvest tender leaves are steamed the same day and stone-ground into powder. It works well with milk, cold brew, or whisked straight as matcha. Once you open the 40g tin, keep it refrigerated to preserve the flavor longer.
