Following the now-retired Technic Land Rover Defender 42110 released in October 2019, LEGO has teamed up with Land Rover once again. This time, the ICONS series brings the classic version of the Defender. Once built, it measures 6.3 inches high * 6.3 inches deep * 12.6 inches long (16 cm * 16 cm * 32 cm), which is slightly smaller than the 8.7 inches high * 7.9 inches deep * 16.5 inches long (22 cm * 20 cm * 42 cm) 42110. While the 42110 was modeled after the 2020 model, this 10317 design is a faithful reinterpretation of the original 1983 model, featuring a sand green body, white roof, black wheel trim, and brown interior.
