Editor's Pick: If you have cats or dogs that shed, that fine layer of fur on the carpet is still there after several passes with an ordinary vacuum. This one steers on a ball, so it's easier to maneuver around sofa legs and table feet without constantly lifting it to change angles. The suction head sits tight against the floor and picks up long hair and pet fur in one pass. When you empty the dust bin, just tip it straight into the trash—no need to reach in with your hands.
