Editor's Pick: When you're hiking in the mountains or heading somewhere with no signal and your phone is completely out of bars, this lets you send messages to let loved ones know you're safe. It's palm-sized and clips onto your backpack shoulder strap without getting in the way. Paired with the phone app, you can send two-way text messages, and in an emergency there's an SOS button that connects directly to a rescue center. The renewed version works just like a brand-new one—great for people who head outdoors occasionally.

: Functionally there's no difference—usually just minor cosmetic marks. If your budget is tight, a refurbished one is a pretty good deal. 功能没差别，一般就是外观可能有细微痕迹，预算紧的话翻新挺划算。
