Editor's Pick: After using a refrigerator filter for a while, the water can start to taste off. Once you swap in a new filter, the water tastes much fresher. This one uses coconut shell activated carbon and a multi-layer filtration structure that captures fine particles and impurities while retaining beneficial minerals. Each cartridge lasts about six months or filters 300 gallons (about 1,136 liters) of water, so a 3-pack will last you a good while. Installation requires no tools—just twist off the old one and put on the new one, and the whole process takes about a minute.
