The body is a bit heavier, but that also means better quality. If you want to stick to a budget and prefer something very lightweight without an infant carrier, you can consider other brands. Our family even wanted to buy an UPPAbaby with an infant carrier back then, which was more expensive. Considering it wouldn't be used for many years, we chose the Doona. Its cost-effectiveness is relatively acceptable.
