The P1 is like a suit-wearing thug—no matter how tough it is, it can't compare to someone stripping down and going all out with weapons. Its strength lies in being a bit beefier than other suit-wearing guys (like the X1), and that's about it. If you really need high performance and portability, go for the Lenovo Legion Y7000p or even the Y9000p series—respect the laws of physics. If you don’t believe me, just look at that highly discussed post on Zhihu. His P1G5 with A5500 and 12900H ended up breaking down in all sorts of ways. Look at how conservative Lenovo is being now—the P1G8 maxes out at only 5060-5060Ti performance. If you’re willing to take the risk, buy Lenovo’s 3.3.3 Premier Warranty. In big cities, you can also opt for onsite service, which ensures spare parts are available when repairs are inevitably needed. The sweetest deals for the P1G6 are the base model at 1189 and the 2000ada version (though its screen is too basic). The most practical option for the entire P1 series is the 2K screen. 这个配置本身没问题但放P1上问题很大，听劝别冲。要赌的话买联想3.3.3 premier保修，大城市还可以选onsite，这样在必然要修的情况下备件有保证点。P1G6最甜的就是那个1189的丐版，以及2000ada款（可惜屏幕太丐这个）P1整个系列最实用的是2K屏幕

: I bought a P1 Gen 4 a few years ago, configured with an 11th Gen i9 and an RTX 3080. I don’t game much on it; I mainly use it for CV research-related projects, so occasionally, I push the CPU and GPU to high loads for short periods. After about a year of use, it started failing frequently—basically, the dedicated GPU and Wi-Fi card would take turns not being recognized. I purchased on-site warranty, and the technician would come to my home the next day. The repair process was straightforward but brutal: they’d just replace the entire motherboard along with the CPU and GPU. 几年前买过P1G4，配置是十一代i9+3080。不太打游戏，基本用来搞一些cv research相关的项目，所以偶尔会让cpu和显卡短时间高负荷运行。用了大概一年后就开始频繁坏，基本就是独显和无线网卡轮流识别不出来。保修买了on site倒是第二天就能到家里，修起来非常简单粗暴，直接整个主板连着CPU显卡一起换新的，好一阵子之后又换个坏。。。不过对于这个配置来讲机身是真的挺优雅，一定非要买的话记得买保修![[笑哭]](/assets/emoji/comment-emoji/dm_xiaoku@2x.png?v=1)

Also, the 4K screen has already broken. I still have a 10+ year old W530, which works perfectly and has never broken down. 我的是gen3，也是一样的独显经常识别不出来，每次都是清空重装系统，都麻了。另外4k屏也坏过了。我还有一台10+年的w530，非常好用，从没有坏过。

: Far from it. This machine is just a bargain because there's really nothing good available in the U.S. Its actual performance would be crushed by the Legion. The 13900H at best matches the U5-225H performance, and 64GB RAM at 5200MHz (the new CSO already has 6000MHz). But since good stuff is scarce in the U.S. right now, I think it's still worth buying at this price. Otherwise, having to ship from JD.com is just too much hassle. 差远了，这个机器也就是美国这边实在没有好货捡便宜。实际性能会被拯救者虐死。13900H撑死了U5-225H性能，64G到5200M（新款CSO已经6000MHz了）但美国现在好东西少，这么便宜我觉得也可以买。不然得京东转运太麻烦了
