Editor's Pick: Take the kids to the community pool in the evening, and as it gets dark, the lights on the boat glow and leave a trail of color across the water while the kids chase after it. The 13-inch hull has a solid presence in the water and is easy to steer through turns and U-turns. It comes with two batteries, and swapping them gives you about forty minutes of playtime. The propeller only spins when it's in the water, so you don't have to worry if your hand touches it when retrieving the boat.
