Editor's Pick: You always need a spot to sit when changing shoes at the door, and this stool is just the right height — no more awkward bending while tying laces. Lift the lid and you can stash a few blankets and off-season pillows, instantly tidying up that corner of the living room. The thick MDF board holds weight well and stays steady when you sit on it. When not in use, fold it flat and tuck it into a gap in the cabinet — easy to take along when you move.
