Editor's Pick: One building set lets you create three different designs: a floral painting on an easel, a flower picture frame, and a flamingo sketch with a paint palette. Once built, they look great displayed on a desk and give a real sense of accomplishment. The petals can be rearranged, so kids can rework the colors and layout however they like. At 348 pieces, it's not too many, and kids around 8 or 9 can finish it in an afternoon. The little accessories like the paintbrush and paint tubes are nicely detailed too.
