Editor's Pick: You used to have to plug in a cable to use CarPlay before you get in the car, and the cable always had a loose connection. Just plug this into your car's USB-C port. After the first pairing, it connects automatically about ten seconds after you start the car. Navigation, phone calls, and music all work without reaching for a cable again. It's half the size of typical adapters, so it doesn't block the neighboring ports, and it doesn't get very hot even on long summer road trips. It works with most factory CarPlay vehicles from 2018 and later, and supports iPhone with iOS 10 and above.
