Editor's Pick: Babies around one year old can't quite grip with much strength yet, so magnetic fishing toys tend to slip off. This one uses hook-and-loop fasteners and felt instead—the rod only needs a light touch for the fish to stick, so little ones can reel them in on their own and will happily play again and again.

The 22-piece set includes 15 little fish and 5 stacking buckets in all different colors and sizes. After fishing, kids can sort by color and stack the buckets. The ocean mat rolls up into a storage bag when playtime is over, making it easy to bring along. The felt material is soft, with no sharp corners or small parts, and it's machine washable when it gets dirty.
