Editor's Pick: The worst part of camping is hard, cold ground. This 2.3-inch thick sleeping pad separates you from rocks and pebbles, and gives your back and neck support when you roll over to sleep on your side. Since the pillow is built in, you don't need to pack a separate one. Inflation is a breeze: the built-in foot pump fills it in about 50 seconds, and deflation takes just one second, so you're not stuck waiting when it's time to pack up the tent. The whole pad weighs 1.42 lbs and folds up to about the size of a water bottle, so you can slip it into a side pocket of your backpack and go. The 40D ripstop fabric holds up on damp or rough ground without tearing or leaking, and wipes clean when dirty. Two people can snap two pads together to make a larger bed.
