Editor's Pick: This needs no introduction, right? Compared to when I was a student, SOLIDWORKS is much more affordable now. Back then, without the educational version, I couldn't have afforded the legitimate software as a student. Compared to the commercial version, SOLIDWORKS for Makers is essentially a benefit for personal users - you just need to ensure you don't make more than $2,000 profit using it annually.
